The NBA Antique and Classic Car Show is taking place next month, and is a presentation of the Newtown Business Association.

There are expected to be over 160 vehicles participating in the show including classics, trucks, modified, custom and special interest cars. The marque car for this year is the Shelby. There will be 12 classes in which the vehicles are judged and trophies will be given to first and second place, and there will also be Best of Show, Best American, Best European, and Asian. There will also be first and second place awards for Shelby owners exclusively. Car show registrants can take part in special raffle prize drawings.

Local businesses and community organizations will be hosting tables where they will provide information about their products and/or services. Many will come from nearby communities such as Morrisville, and may decide to hand out freebies such as promotional pens or fridge magnets.

There will also be entertainment including the Council Rock High School’s Sock N’ Buskin Club who will be strolling around the venue.

The NBA Antique and Classic Car Show will be held on State Street in Newton on July 9 from 10:00am to 3:00pm, or on rain date is July 16. For more information about the event or on how to register a car, contact Rich Napoli at 267-753-2711.
