The 40th Historic Bristol Day celebration is taking place next month in Bucks County, presented by the Bristol Cultural and Historical Foundation.

People will like come from all over Bucks County to participate in this annual event and recognize this year’s theme of ‘Celebrating Bristol’s Last 50 Years’.

There is set to be a car show, lots of children’s activities, and live entertainment. Some of those performing include DJ Jerry Blavat and the Bracken Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps. There will also be a sailing regatta, arts and crafts vendors selling a variety of handmade items, and a food court.

Six private homes will be participating in an open door tour and each will feature displays such as wedding gowns and miniature reproductions of historical landmarks. A riverfront tea will be hosted in one of those homes. Tickets for the tea and tour are $12 in advance or $15 at the door.

Residents from nearby communities such as Morrisville will likely be interested in finding out about this upcoming event. To ensure that the public is aware of it, organizers may distribute flyers throughout the area.

The Historic Bristol Day celebration will be held in downtown Bristol on October 15 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. For the most up-to-date information about this event, contact the Bristol Cultural and Historical Foundation at 215-781-9895.
