Watertown set to get on its saddle

An all-day event taking place tomorrow, the ‘Watertown Tour De Goose Bike Ride’ is a fundraising event designed to benefit the Watertown Area Cares Clinic, which provides healthcare for the uninsured people of Jefferson and Dodge counties.

Poster printing, banner printing, and flyer printing are all likely to have been used to promote this function, which aims to offer family fun and funds towards a good cause, to people in the community.

The ride starts and ends at the Riverside Park located in Watertown and people can elect to participate in the 30-mile ride or the 60-mile ride. On their way, guests will enjoy rolling hills, and there will be a family friendly ride available for families with small children, which is a less demanding 10 miles in length.

All bike routes used have minimal traffic and are on well-maintained country roads. The routes are clearly marked, so nobody should end up lost, and there will be cue sheets provided to assist riders. Emergency and mechanical assistance will be available all along the routes, as well as designated rest stops where riders can obtain refreshments. After the ride, lunch will be provided along the Rock River.

Regsitration is necessary and the cost of this event is $45 per person or $90 per family. The tour will run all day tomorrow, leaving from the Riverside Park located at 850 Labaree Street in Watertown, Wisconsin. To learn more about these rides, or to register, please visit the Watertown Tour De Goose website or call Jill Nadeau at 920-285-1986.
