Parade shines its light tomorrow

November 23, 2012 by

It’s that time of year again and the Watertown Parade Committee has planned a wonderful parade for the entire community to come and watch. Tomorrow’s 2012 Parade of Lights will be a great way to spend an evening with the children as they ‘ooh’ and ‘ah’ as the floats, bands, choirs, and Santa Claus pass to welcome in the Christmas season.

Watertown is nestled in the rolling hills of southeast Wisconsin and is a great place to do business or reside. This quaint little community offers the public enjoyment, with many function featuring as part of the festivities, but none are so loved as visiting with Santa. Kids are encouraged to bring their wish lists and have a sit-down with Santa. Cameras should be at the ready to take pictures as the parade passes by. Along the route, children will enjoy collecting the candy donated by local merchants and watching as the bright lights of this parade pass them by.

Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to advertise and promote this seasonal parade to members of this community and the surrounding areas. Admission is free and everyone is welcome to come along.

The Parade of Lights will be held on tomorrow, November 24, between 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm, in the downtown core, travelling from Water Street, onto Main Street, then turning onto Dewey Avenue in Watertown, Wisconsin. To learn more, or to enter the parade, please visit the Watertown Parade Committee website or call Andy Tessman at 920-261-2745.
