Local library to host job-seeking expert

January 30, 2014 by

Special guest Kathi Strohbusch from Wisconsin Job Service will be appearing at the Watertown Library today to assist anyone looking for a job in this area.

Strohbusch has years of experience in assisting people with all aspects of job hunting. Poster and flyer printing might have been the method chosen by the library to promote this special guest to people throughout the area.

The expert will be on hand at the library this afternoon to assist people with their job searches and will provide services to assist guests with everything from creating the perfect résumé to submitting online applications. While at the library, job seekers will have full access to free Wi-Fi, computers, and various resources that will make their job hunting a little easier and aid them in their quest to land their dream job.

During this session, guests will be involved with mock interviews that will help them to understand what employers are looking for at the interviews they attend. Guests are being requested to call and set up an appointment, even though walk-ins are welcome. Taking digital business cards along could well reap its own rewards.

Kathi Strohbusch will be available to help people looking for jobs today, January 30, from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the Watertown Public Library located at 100 South Water Street in Watertown, Wisconsin. To learn more about the guest speaker, or to book an appointment, please visit the Watertown Public Library website or call the library at 920-262-4000.
