Wisconsin performance group Main Street Song and Dance is performing in Sussex, the neighboring town of Menomonee Falls, over the next few days.

The troupe’s holiday performance for 2018 is called Christmas on Main Street. It will feature classic stories such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Elf. Show times are at 7:30 pm on Friday, December 14 at 3:00 pm, and 7:30 pm on Saturday, December 15 at the Little Theater at Sussex Hamilton High School. Each show includes a singalong for children that is fully interactive. After the 3:00 pm show, Santa will be available for pictures.

Jes Sudbrink, creative director of the Main Street troupe, says the cast surprised newcomers with its talent, and notes that the troupe this year wished to put on a joyful and entertaining holiday event that immerses the audience in a Christmas atmosphere. This year is the 11th holiday event for the troupe.

According to co-founder and president Ann Farrenkopf, the upcoming show is a favorite since it brings out the holiday spirit in the audience and it is optimal for families. Members have practiced for over two months, and she says the show is a demonstration of their teamwork and effort.

Main Street Song and Dance Troupe is a nonprofit organization established more than decade ago. It features singers and dancers who have performed around the nation including Disney World. Together, they put on shows during various times of the year, and are the sort of collective that often uses promotional products to make themselves seen and known.
