Treasures in store this weekend

The Kalahari Treasure is an event for the whole family this weekend consisting, with two adults permitted on each team of three to six participants.

This is a treasure hunting expedition that will entice families to travel across the city looking for various treasures by following the clues provided. Poster printing, brochure printing, and flyer printing have most likely been used to promote this hunt to the community and surrounding areas.

Upon starting this team challenge, each team will be provided clues that will have them travelling around the city seeking the location in which the treasure is based. At each point, the teams will have to answer or perform a challenge to earn points and to receive their next clue.

Vehicles are required to participate in this event and each family must use their own. A selection of prizes is awarded to the team at every site containing a clue. There are prizes for the best dressed teams and the team that earns the most points. Pre-registration for this event is a must, as it dressing appropriately for the weather. All teams will compete to find the ultimate ‘treasure’ first.

The Kalahari Treasure Hunt will be happening on Saturday, May 11, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Traxler Park Warming House located at 600 North Main Street in Janesville, Wisconsin.
