Janesville diners given mystery opportunity

August 16, 2013 by

The Grape Expectations Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre is an interactive production created and presented by the Janesville Little Theatre. This is a comedy theatrical experience that people at all ages will no doubt enjoy, and it is likely that brochure printers have been called upon to promote this dining experience to people in the area looking for entertainment this weekend.

This interactive comedy dinner theater has been created and directed by Dennis Dopkins, in co-operation with Jackie Woods and Rebecca Vanderheyden. The dinner is provided by Elsberry’s Edibles and will include plenty of fun, raffles, and silent actions.

The meal for the evening consists of wild rice pilaf, honey dilled baby carrots, and cranberry pecan pork. With a range of sauces and desserts to complement it, it seems unlikely that anyone will go home hungry.

The interactive performance involves the dinner theater guests and invites them to assist the characters in this production with solving the murder mystery and finding out who committed the dreaded deed.

Tickets for the dinner are $16, and for the production are $40 and up, depending on seating selection. Please note that booking in advance is required, so this should really be done today at the latest.

The fun will get started tomorrow, August 17, beginning with dinner and cocktails at 6:00 pm and the performance at 7:00 pm at the Janesville Performing Arts Center. For more details or tickets, please visit the location’s website or call the box office at 608-758-0297.
