Taste of Korea to come to the area

February 20, 2014 by

A special Korean tasting and cultural heritage event is offering people the opportunity to learn more about the customs and cuisine enjoyed in the nation later this month.

Poster printing, banner printing, and flyer printing might have been used to spread their word about this cultural happening, so that those with a thirst for understanding other cultures can enjoy the day.

For many years, students have come from Korea’s Catholic University to study with the students who attend Alverno. Most of these students are from South Korea and have brought with them some of their most treasured traditions, while also creating wonderful dinner for guests to enjoy while learning more about these students’ homeland.

This evening event is sure to provide an interesting glimpse into the nation know as the ‘Land of Morning Calm’. The event includes a full buffet of exquisite Korean foods prepared by the in-house catering staff. Doors open at 5:45 pm and the registration deadline is February 17.

The cost is $35 per person, and it will be happening on Tuesday, February 25, beginning at 6:00 pm at the Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which is just a short drive from Greenfield. To register for this event, or to learn more, please visit the Alverno Edu website or call the office during normal hours of operation.
