Puppet pandemonium awaits for Greenfield audience

The ‘Madcap Puppets – When you Wish Upon a Fish’ is a larger-than-life showcase of puppetry, filled with outstanding, high-energy workmanship. The upcoming performance is presented by a fantastic puppet troupe that hails from Ohio and is bound to be a treat for viewers.

This wonderfully madcap puppet show brings the work of the Grimm Brothers back to the stage in one of the most outrageous adaptations one is likely to see. This troupe has three totally unique versions of the stories “The Fisherman and his Wife”, and has trouble deciding which of the storylines they would like to choose to be included in their book. All of the versions present require audiences to participate and includes a mystical talking fish – all with surprise endings. Based heavily on slapstick comedy, the performance creates a real adventure for the audience.

Proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit the Greenfield Public Library. Each admission to this puppet show includes an entry into the draw to win personal story time with Mr. Mark – famous for his fall story series at the library.

Poster printing and flyer printing, possibly using local printing companies, may have been used to promote this entertaining puppet show to residents of the community and surrounding areas. Admission to this event costs $5 per person and everyone is welcome.

It takes place on Saturday, October 6, at 6:00 pm at the Greenfield Public Library, located at 5310 W. Layton Avenue in Greenfield, Wisconsin. To reserve tickets, please visit the Greenfield Public Library website or call 414-321-9595 during regular hours.
