Greenfield Concert Band springs into step

April 3, 2014 by

With the coming of spring, the Greenfield Concert Band is inviting families to come out and enjoy its seasonal community concert next week.

The band, in its inaugural season, features a combination of amateur and professionals between the ages of 16 and 85. It was created to provide Greenwood folks with a positive musical experience that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Groups like this often use services like poster printing to share information about this concert with residents of this community, as well as those in surrounding communities.

At this spring concert, under the direction of Conductor Kelly Schultz, the band will perform a variety of contemporary and classical works that include ‘West Side Story’, ‘Silverado’, and ‘The Entertainer’. There will be a gift and basket raffle that will happen before and after the concert.

The band comprises musicians from the Milwaukee area and promises to be a memorable and positive experience. Donations will be accepted at the door to support the band.

Admission is free and everyone is encouraged to attend. The Greenfield Concert Band’s Spring Performance will take place on Friday, April 11, beginning at 7:00 pm at the Greenfield Performing Arts Center located at 4800 S. 60th Street in Greenfield, Wisconsin.
