Friendly cornhole fundraiser planned for Baraboo

August 20, 2017 by

Baraboo cornhole experts, and those who just enjoy a good time with their friends, are invited to participate in an upcoming event.

The Baraboo Lions Club will be hosting its second annual cornhole tournament, and everyone is welcome to get in on the excitement. Each team will be made up of two members, and can consist of men, women, or both. There will be judges on site to help score related decisions, and those who participate are reminded that it is intended to be a day of fun and friendship.

There will be both competitive and friendly divisions for this event, and the top finishers in both categories will receive cash prizes. There will also be a long toss and accuracy box set up, and the proceeds from each will be split equally between the hosts and the winners. The monies raised throughout the day will be used to help fund an assortment of community-based initiatives and service projects, so the organizers are hoping the public will be generous in their support of this activity. Banners, T-shirts, and an assortment of ad specialties that can be sold as fundraising items can be both designed and prepared by a local printer for an activity such as this.

The Lions Club 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament has been planned for September 15th in Langer Park in Baraboo. More information and an opportunity to secure a place in the competition can be found on its event listing.
