Baraboo to get walking and wining

November 4, 2012 by

A fine wine tasting event will soon take place in a variety of selected Baraboo Businesses located in the downtown core.

Besides a sampling of some tasty wines, there will be tasty treats served at The Downtown Baraboo Wine Walk and a lovely quiet evening stroll around the area with acquaintances. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Baraboo Pantry and Downtown Baraboo Inc.

This event is sponsored by the Downtown Baraboo Inc, and Bekah Kate’s. Lines at this event sometimes can be long, but those who pick up your glass and wristband before the walk begins can avoid the line ups.Attendees should remember to place their name on their book and glass, as they all look identical.

Groups can plan your route around more than 25 locations on this wine walk, although visiting all in just three hours would be almost impossible. It would be wise to come hungry as each location provides foods to match the wines they are serving. The event is open to over 21s only and responsible drinking is encouraged – anyone who appears to be intoxicated will not be served.

Poster printing and brochure printing may have been methods used to promote this superb wine walk to members of the community and the surrounding regions. The cost is $25 per person with only 400 places available.

This event will be taking place on Friday, November 16, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the downtown district in Baraboo, Washington. To purchase tickets, or for additional details, please visit the Downtown Baraboo Wine Walk website or call Downtown Baraboo Inc, or Bekah Kate’s during business hours.
