Art event to paint a pretty picture in Baraboo

August 3, 2013 by

The Summer Art Classic in Baraboo is a premier art event that happens each year and features the fine art of many of Wisconsin’s artists.

With many children’s activities and games available, it seems likely that a range of printing services might be used to promote this classic art event to people in the region.

On the day, guests will enjoy a large collection of fine art work from local artisans, as well as those from across the state. This year, more than 75 artists were accepted in by judges, and they feature such items as jewelry, paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, fiber art, glass work.

While visiting the show, people will have the opportunity to shop in the downtown core, enjoy some of its restaurants, and watch as their children play games, enjoy activities, and have a great time. This is a ‘rain or shine event’, so guests are asked to dress for the weather and to remember their cameras, sunscreen, and sunglasses.

The Summer Art Classic is being presented and sponsored by the Sauk County Art Association and will be held on Saturday, August 10, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the Courthouse Lawn located on Oak Street in Baraboo, Wisconsin. To find out more information about this event, please visit the Summer Art Classic in Baraboo website or call 608-356-3192 during business hours. The website has details of some other events taking place in the state this month.
