Sioux Falls fairgrounds rolls out its January program

December 13, 2013 by

There are two upcoming events taking place this January in Sioux Falls offering very different experiences. Both will take place at the W.H. Lyon Fairground.

The first of them will be the Greater Sioux Falls Outdoor Show taking place for three days. Set to feature a variety of outdoor sports equipment, RVs, lawn equipment, motorcycles, and accessories for sale, there will also be seminars on many aspects of outdoor living. It is aimed at those who look forward to living the outdoor life all year long and will have their mind on the summer.

After that at the fairgrounds is the Sioux Empire Farm Show. It is a presentation of the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce and gives those in the farming field a chance to buy and view market and purebred livestock. The show also is set to feature a variety of exhibits by organizations and businesses in commercial agriculture.

For show such as these two, Sioux Falls printing companies are often contacted to help with the advertising. This might mean helping to design and print flyers, which will then be distributed to the community.

The Greater Sioux Falls Outdoor Show is being held at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds from January 17 to 19. Admission is $5, or free for those aged 12 and under.

The Sioux Empire Farm Show then takes place at the Fairgrounds from January 21 to 25. For more information about either show, contact Larry Johns at 605-367-7178.
