Piston Automotive evaluating two sites in Toledo

Piston Automotive, LLC, an auto parts supplier based in Michigan, is looking at two different sites for the location of its new plant that is to be opening in the Toledo area.

While neither location has been revealed, the president of the company, Steve Hayworth, confirmed on August 27 that the auto parts plant will be located within the city limits of Toledo and he expects operations to begin by the middle of next year. Hayworth stated that they hope to finalize the decision on the location before the end of this month.

New businesses that move in and around the Toledo area often find it necessary to utilize the printing services of Toledo print companies for business card printing and other printed materials related to the opening and establishment of the company. Flyer printing and poster printing may also be used to alert the public to information about the business. Grand opening event organizers may also think about using banner printing provided by local printers.

Piston Automotive, LLC was founded by Vinnie Johnson in 1997 and is headquartered in Redford, Michigan. Vinnie Johnson is a former player for the Detroit Pistons basketball team. He played for the Pistons for a decade, spanning from 1981 until 1991. During his time on the team, the Pistons won the 1989 and 1990 NBA Championships.

The new facility is expected to bring approximately 85 new jobs to the Toledo area, which in turn is estimated to produce about $2.2 million annually in payroll within the first three years of operations. The auto parts manufacturer supplies parts for Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler.
