Celebrate a Candy Cane Christmas at Spring Mist Farms

December 13, 2011 by

Spring Mist Farms, located just north of Medina, is once again celebrating the Christmas season with its annual Candy Cane Christmas. This will be the 8th year for the seasonal event, which includes a large variety of festive activities for good little girls and boys. Kids will love the petting zoo, which includes the traditional sheep, goats, cattle, horses and more. For a special surprise, the farm also has llamas, chinchillas, Alpacas, elk, Emus, and even reindeer! Other festive and fun activities include ring toss, train sets, a snowman melt, a bean bag toss, and letters to Santa. You can even enjoy a special Christmas scavenger hunt in the Christmas village.

Local businesses and organizations in and around the Medina area often advertise special seasonal events with poster printing, flyer printing, and a variety of other printing services provided by Medina print companies. In addition to advertising these special events, print companies might also provide banner printing, programs, business card printing, and other print needs.

One of Spring Mist Farm’s special features is Charlie the Camel. Charlie came to live with “Uncle Dave” Goodyear and the rest of the Spring Mist family when the Goodyear family decided that renting a camel for the celebration each year was just too expensive, so they bought one instead. Children and adults of all ages can visit Charlie and the rest of the gang every Friday and Saturday from now until December 23 from 6-9 p.m. at the Candy Cane Christmas.
