The time of year is coming when the tree lights up on Fountain Square in Cincinnati, acting as a signal of it being time to celebrate the holidays.

Due to be set up in just over a month’s time, the tree will stand 60 feet tall and will include 20,000 sparkling lights and a five foot tall red star promising to be the best tree ever and certainly the biggest in this Ohio city.

The annual Macy’s Light up the Square event attracts thousands of visitors each year. The festivities include a visit from Santa for the enjoyment of all the little ones. Following the tree lighting, fireworks will light up the sky further.

Vendors at events like this often utilize the services of printing companies for the materials needed at special events. Banner printing is a common request as vendors typically put the banners in their booths either on the back drape, and they might also hand out digital business cards in the hope of attracting future business.

The Mayor of Cincinnati will light the tree to the merriment of thousands of spectators anxious to get the holiday season in full swing.
The Macy’s Light up the Square Annual Tree Lighting festivities will take place on November 29 beginning at 6:30 pm on 5th and Vine Streets. Live music will be provided by Eclipse and the Cincy Brass Band. A special performance by SCPA’s musical theater group will also be viewable.

Attendance at the festival is free. For more information, visit the event website or call 513-621-4400.
