120 new jobs coming to the Cincinnati area

Rough Brothers Inc. is bringing approximately 120 new jobs to the Cincinnati and surrounding area with its promise to move into Bond Hill.

The manufacturing company has agreed to build a 150,000 square-foot facility on a 20.5 acre plot of land located at Bond Hill, at the corner of Regina Graeter Way and Paddock Road, that will serve as its headquarters. The company has also agreed to remain in Cincinnati for a period of at least 10 years. The creation of 120 new jobs over the next three years will mean approximately $1.2 million in tax revenue.

When new or existing companies open business or expand into a new location, printing companies in the area may be called upon to provide stationery printing and business card printing. Expanding businesses often find that they need to update these types of business materials in order to establish themselves in a new area. Brochure printers may also be needed to update company information.

Odis Jones, director of Cincinnati Economic Development, stated in a news release,

“The Rough Brothers relocation is a perfect example of Cincinnati’s GO Cincinnati initiative being put to work.

“The site the company chose is located in an area that we have been working to grow for advanced manufacturing and research-oriented businesses.

“Rough Brothers is this type of business and will complement well with this already strong job-generating area of the city.”

The manufacturing facility will be built to Leadership in Energy and Engineering (LEED) standards and is estimated to cost around $4 million. The complete project is estimated at around $13.3 million.
