Beavercreek to host hip-hop happening

April 3, 2014 by

Later this month, the people of Beavercreek will once again be able to enjoy a night of hip-hop with Ohio native and rap star Stalley. He is coming to town as part of his ‘No Place Like Home Tour’. The five-hour event, will also feature fellow hip-hop star Jola Tha Trunk Boi.

Since 2008, Kyle Nyricks, better known as Stalley, has been turning out mix-tapes, albums, and singles, as well as collaborations with names like Scarface and Rick Ross. Just recently, he released a music video of ‘Long Way Down’ off his new Honest Cowboy mixtape. Earlier in March, he released ‘Midwest Blues’, a song produced by Black Diamond from Blue Collar Gang.

Also as part of the night’s entertainment will be Atlanta native Jola, who now calls Dayton his home. The former understudy of Jamaine Dupri was first featured on Romantic Era’s release ‘Heart Shaped Lover’ and dropped his own mixtape ‘Trunklife’ back in February. His ‘BTOML’ remix has also generated a large following.

Concert-goers may want to have banner printing done before the show for display to show their support for the artists, and promoters often seek out printing services so that fans can be supplied with merchandise.

The concert will be held at W.O. Wrights, 3979 Colonel Glenn Hwy, Beavercreek, at 9:00 pm on Friday, April 18. Ticket holders must be aged 18 and over.
