Upcoming summit to unite young professionals

February 20, 2014 by

The 2014 Young Professionals Summit is coming up next month, presented by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals, and is expected to draw at least 1,500 attendees.

The event will give young business owners, entrepreneurs and community leaders a chance to meet their peers while learning how to become more successful. They are expected to learn about professional development, community involvement, and leadership strategies.

The two keynote speakers for the summit will be Mike Smith of Skate for Change and social impact strategist Erica Williams. Breakout sessions will feature a number of speakers who will be talking about topics like ‘Purpose, passion, position and profit: is it in you?’ and ‘Regenerative leadership’.

There will also be several networking opportunities at a luncheon and an after-party. Many of those attending will no doubt be contacting their favorite Omaha stationery printers to order business cards. That way, they can be confident in knowing that the card has all of their current information.

The Young Professionals Summit is taking place at the CenturyLink Center Omaha on March 6 from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Tickets are $125 or $75 for lunch only, with a limited number of student tickets also on sale for $50.
