Business expo to feature networking and professional development

November 4, 2012 by

Networking Plus, LLC is gearing up for its 2nd annual business expo at the Stegton Regency Conference & Banquet Center in St. Charles. The expo offers businesspeople from a wide variety of industries the opportunity to take in up to four speakers, a venue for networking, an exhibition area, door prizes, and a raffle to benefit a local charity. The event is free of charge, beyond the cost of business card printing. Since Networking Plus’ own membership numbers more than 150 professionals, and with the public in attendance, the business cards are likely to fly.

Speakers scheduled through the afternoon of the expo are Michelle Nelson of Back 2 Basics, Cathy Sexton from Productivity Experts, Dawn Ferguson of Ferguson Hypnotherapy, and Fred Miller – author of ‘No Sweat Public Speaking’.

Networking Plus was established in early 2011 and is dedicated to providing businesspeople with the tools to be successful, including several weekly meetings, seminars, workshops, coaching and other events. Tuesday meetings are held in St. Peters, Wednesdays are in Des Peres, and Thursday gatherings take place in Florissant. Those interested in learning more about membership are invited to attend up to two meetings as a guest. Networking Plus founder Doreen Phillips offers complimentary coaching to organization members, and to non-members for a fee.

Many closed membership or application-based networking organizations emphasize the importance of weekly meetings and relationship-building activities between members to a successful networking group. More information about Networking Plus, including benefits of membership and contact details, are available at its website.

The expo is scheduled for November 8.
