Play to offer soup-perb entertainment

A Rebecca Gilman play from 1976 is making its debut at the Repertory Theatre, offering a production for the entire family to take in some stage performance for the rest of the week

‘Soups, Stews, and Casseroles’ is a story about community and building lasting relationships. The promoters of the play might have selected brochure printing and poster printing to showcase this storyline to people in this community and in the surrounding towns.

This story takes place in a small town that is facing some major changes, particularly since its cheese factory has just been bought out by a major conglomeration. The people in the community are worried after hearing about this development, even though they will remain company employees. Kim, a wife and mother who is extremely community-minded, is keen to make new neighbors feel welcome as they move to their community and begin working for the changing company.

Tickets for this production cost between $40 and $63 per person, depending on seats selected. Soups, Stews, and Casseroles will be on stage this evening at 7:00 pm the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts in Webster Groves, Missouri, which is just a 20-minute drive from St. Ann. The final performance will be this Sunday.
