Feast of entertainment on its way to Manchester

August 11, 2012 by

The 26th annual Manchester Homecoming will be held in Paul A. Schroeder Park on September 7 – 9. Admission is free, although some activities have a separate fee.

There will be plenty of activities at the Homecoming, such as a cute kid and pet contest, food and drinks, live entertainment from acts such as Griffin and the Gargoyles, Bryan and Lolo and the Spectrum Band, dance performances, the Reptile Experience, carnival rides, children’s activities, a parade, and the Doggie Paddle Party.

The parade will be held on September 8, with this year’s theme being ‘Family, Friends, and Fun’. Judges will be awarding plaques to floats, cars, and walkers based on originality, appearance, and relevance to theme. The Doggie Paddle Party will take place at the Aquatic Center on September 8 and 9 with tickets priced at $10 for owners and up to two dogs. Proceeds will go towards helping a local animal charity.

Organizers of the event are sure to require the services of Manchester printing companies to decorate the area and to thank the sponsors for their help. Banner printing services could provide a colorful banner that will show appreciation to all of those local companies who donated money to make the event a success. They could also be used to separate various areas of an event.

Events such as Manchester Homecoming are a great way of getting to know your neighbors in a relaxed fun atmosphere. They also help to promote city pride and the local business community.
