Do some networking over golf

The West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce’s 21st annual Golf Classic and Hawaiian Luau will take place at Ballwin Golf Course on May 21st beginning at 10:45 AM. Tickets are $125 per player for the complete day or $30 just for the Hawaiian luau.

Tickets include 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch, dinner, drinks on the course, an open bar after golf, dinner, games, raffles, give aways, prizes and a silent auction. There will be two threesomes at each hole.

Many chambers of commerce throughout the United States hold spring-time golf tournaments, both to raise money and to give their members the opportunity to network with their business peers. Many chamber members from all over West St. Louis County including nearby Manchester will be looking forward to this yearly golf classic. Arranging for extra business card printing before attending the game will be a smart thing for those who are planning to play golf to do. Golf bags usually have an extra pouch or two where players can store some business cards which will make them easy to exchange while on the course.

A lot of networking between business leaders takes place at social events, at meetings and on the golf course. With six people at each hole, and then over drinks after the game and dinner, there will be lots of opportunities for West St. Louise County business peers to discover what they can do to help each other and to grow their referral networks.
