As one of the fastest growing areas in its state, the city of Rochester is binding together to let its community know about the growth with its Tenth Annual Rochester on Tour Event.

With an aim to make the city’s voice heard in government, as well as providing an opportunity for local businesses and professional individuals to network, the day promises to be informative and beneficial to all involved.

Participants are invited come to the Rochester International Event Centre at 10:45 am to start the day with registration and a networking session. It is highly recommended that those representing a business bring any promotional materials they may have to pass along, including digital business cards.

Afterwards, participants will depart by bus to the capitol in St. Paul ,where they will have a full tour of the state legislature, the opportunity to bring their issues to a local official’s round table, and attend various issue forums where they will learn lobbying advice and recommendations.

Admission for the day is $50 per person with a discounted rate of $40 for seniors aged 62 and over. The fee includes lunch, transportation, reception, education sessions, and tours of the capital. This is a perfect way to learn about the resources available to entrepreneurs in the state as well as expand network connections. The event will start on the morning of Tuesday, February 5, and will continue well into the evening. For more information, or to sign up, please contact the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce.
