The Challenger Season Finale and Showcase will take place from December 2-4 at the Overland Park Soccer Complex. The showcase will feature over 250 premier high school-aged boys’ and girls’ soccer teams from all over the Midwest, all of whom hope to catch the eye of the over 100 college coaches who will be in attendance. Over 300 coaches have been invited to attend the showcase at this “state of the art” soccer complex.

There are two separate divisions: the U8-U14 Tournament features three games and a finale and the U15-U19 Showcase features three games with college coaches attending. The Tournament will allow those teams participating to show their skills and the Showcase will allow players to showcase their talents to the attending coaches.

Soccer is becoming more and more popular in the United States; the fact that college coaches from all over the country to Overland Park show how important it is becoming to sports programs. It is only a matter of time before there are more professional teams for those players who want to continue playing soccer after college. Businesses always play a big part in the success of teams. Sponsorship which can include uniforms and equipment plays a vital part in the success of any team. Printing companies will personalize soccer shirts with the name of the player, their number and a small symbol or name representing the sponsor.

The Challenger Season Finale and Showcase will draw teams, their families and college coaches to Overland Park; there are bound to be great economic benefits for local businesses.
