Carols galore in Iowa City

December 8, 2012 by

The Festival of Carols is a family event planned to start the family’s holiday season off right. During this special event, there will be sing-a-longs featuring some of the most beloved Christmas Carols, special guest performances, complimentary hot cocoa, and, of course, a chance to visit with jolly old Santa Claus.

During this special concert, some of the guest performances will be provided by Cory Hanson, who is the Pro/Am Fire and Object Manipulator, the Iowa City Girls Choir, the Sisters of Song, and the Old Capitol Chorus. If that is not enough, The Feralings will arrive on stage to delight visitors more, but they will also have other groups accompanying them on stage at various times, including the Iowa City Community Theatre. There will also be a special reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ by Megan Gogerty. For any family that loves the Christmas season and enjoys great music, this is the place to be in Iowa City.

The Englert Theatre may have used poster printing, as well as brochure printing and flyer printing, to spread the word about this great concert to members of this city and the surrounding areas.

The Festival of Carols concert is free to attend and will be happening on Thursday, December 13, starting at 7:00 pm at the Englert Theatre located at 212 East Washington Street in Iowa City, Iowa, just down the road from Davenport. To view the schedule, please visit the Englert Theatre website or call the box office.
