2012 Westmont Hold’em headlines month for chamber

Between the upcoming Tourism & Events Meeting and the 2012 Westmont Hold’em Progressive Dinner, members of the Westmont Chamber of Commerce have at least two events to watch for on the calendar.

Of these two occasions, the Tourism & Events Meeting is the closest with a listed date of May 10th. Although it’s easy to think of yearly events like the Annual Westmont Community Golf Classic and the Westmont Winter Ball as a sign that it’s time to pick up the phone and order postcard printing for promotional purposes, the Tourism and Events Committee is offering local businesses the opportunity to do even more.

Hosted each month by both the chamber and the Tourism Bureau, meeting participation is being touted as a fantastic means of getting more exposure during these major community events. Going from 8:00am to 9:10am, there’ll be plenty of time to attend this one without disrupting other plans.

In light of the fact that the 2012 Westmont Hold’em Progressive Dinner is taking place May 22nd, business professionals have good reason to consider a fresh order of business card printing. In what projects to be a fun-filled evening, attendees will be travelling to different locations both to eat and to participate in a larger-than-life version of Westmont Hold’em.

With prizes available and seating times of 5:00pm, 5:50pm, and 6:35pm respectively, the scheduling is suited to the needs of busy professionals as well. Priced at $40 for attendees, organizers are asking those interested in coming to sign up and pay ahead of time.
