The Sportsplex Family Health Fair will take place at the Orland Park Sportsplex on April 21 from 9am – 1pm. Admission is free. This is the 10th year this event will be held.

Those who attend the Health Fair will be able to get free health checks, such as blood pressure screening, cholesterol testing and flexibility testing. There will also be able to receive nutritional counseling and injury screenings. In addition, visitors can take free aerobics classes. There will also be plenty of activities for the kids such as face painting, a Dino Jump and balloon sculptures; they will also be given healthy snacks to eat. The Sportsplex T-Rex will also drop by. No doubt Orland Park brochure printers have been able to supply the organizers with prints containing literature that promotes a healthy lifestyle.

These days’ people are more and more concerned about becoming and staying healthy. With the increased charges for medical treatment, people are looking for alternative therapies and for ways to stay healthy. Learning how to eat properly and getting more exercise are definitely ways that can help to reduce medical bills in the future. It has been said that children’s life expectancy in the United States is lower than that of their parents, due to the lack of exercise and unhealthy eating habits. The younger the age children are exposed to healthier living, the longer they will live. Events such as this are a good way to start them on the right road.
