Sell and tell event gets busy with beadwork

November 11, 2012 by

The ‘BSGC, Bead Show, Sell, and Tell’ is open to the public and features the beaded handwork of BSGC (Bead Society of Greater Chicago) members available for sale, just in time for the holiday season. This show is also intended for the artisans to discuss and showcase their works they have created.

Members can come together and discuss various aspects of beadwork while also doing member-to-member sales of their beadwork, jewelry, and beads that are packaged loosely. At this show, swaps and showings of the work are also appreciated. Members are invited to attend free of charge and the public can pick up some fantastic handmade items. Tables for the members are on a first come, first served basis.

After the public portion of the evening, elections for the Board of Directors for 2013 will be held and members whose last names start with N through S will be asked to bring treats. Selling takes place from 7:15 pm to 8:45 pm.

Poster printing and flyer printing were most likely the choice of the organizers to promote this showcase to the public in this region, as well as the members of the group. Admission is free and all ages are welcome to attend. The BSGC Member Show, Sell, and Tell is being held on Wednesday, November 14 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the VFW Park Post 3579 located at 10 West Higgins Road in Park Ridge, Illinois, just a short drive from Des Plaines.
