Today’s the day for story-sharing

November 15, 2012 by

Today’s ‘Share a Story & Bring the Family’ event has many functions to keep the family entertained for much of the day. To kick off the festivities, a luncheon will be available, including pizza or a hot dog, a Hi-C or small soda, and 10 game tokens for the small price of $3 per person.

This fun-packed family event also offers hundreds of activities for the whole family, although some have additional charges. After the luncheon and game activities, around 1:00 pm, the crowd will be entertained by a story reading with lots of interesting twists and turns, and then the guests will be invited to use their creative imaginations to paint their own masterpiece.

Claudia Freeman, from the Waukegan Park District, will be there to offer some guidance and join in the fun. After the painting period ends, families will be able to participate in the other games and activities that take place at this facility, many of which offer great prizes and a challenge for everyone.

Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to advertise and promote this superb family day to residents of this community and neighboring communities. The Share a Story & Bring the Family event is being held today, Thursday, November 15, beginning at 11:30 am at the Rink Side Family Entertainment Center located at 6152 W. Grand Avenue in Gurnee, Illinois. To learn more about the other features offered at this center, please visit the Rink Side Family Entertainment Center website or call the office at 847-856-1064 during normal hours.
