Summer Concert raises the heat in Illinois

July 12, 2012 by

This Sunday, July 15, Lil’ Ed and The Blues will appear as part of the Summer Concert Series occurring at Fountain Square, next to the Archer Municipal Lot in Long Grove, Illinois, a short hop down the road from Gurnee. This event will run from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

This is one of the bands that will be performing in the community’s summer concert series and will feature a foot-stomping assault of blues that promises to be expressive, accelerated, and high-octane. Coming out the gate at full speed, the group has been building a solid reputation as one of the best around, regularly performing at large international concerts.

Lil’ Ed Williams is widely considered to be one of the master bluesmen in the region. While watching his performance, the audience will be amazed as his nimble fingers pluck out boogie-woogies and true Chicago shuffles. To date, this group has 24 years of raging success behind it and, no matter where the performance is, audiences always tend to love its shows. Wild with energy, yet soulful to the extreme at times, the audience will enjoy some of the most heart-wrenching ballads, deep and satisfying blues, and songs from the album, with 13 of the 14 tracks on it being at least partly written by Williams.

Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this concert series to the residents of the community and surrounding areas. Admission to this event is free. To find out more, please visit the Long Grove Summer Concert Series website or call 847-634-0888.
