Gurnee makes the most of winter with chilly festival

The Frosty Fest at Viking Park tonight is set to be an event that is filled with all types of winter activities that are suitable for the entire family, no matter what their ages. Poster printing and flyer printing were most likely used to promote this fun winter event to folks in the community and its outlying regions.

The event is sponsored by the Gurnee Park District and includes a number of fun family activities, including some outstanding dog sled demonstrations, special horse-drawn carriage rides, a family snowman building contest, tasty refreshments, visits with the loveable Frosty the Snowman, amateur Ice sculpting, and an assortment of enjoyable music.

All activities at this event may be changed depending on weather conditions and, taking into account that the celebration takes place outdoors, guests are reminded to bundle everyone up nice and warm. Families may wish to bring their camera and capture the fun in pictures, perhaps to be developed by a Gurnee print company at a later date. The event looks set to fun for everyone and to provide some highly competitive snowman building challenges.

Admission to this event is free, and there is no need to register in advance. Frosty Fest will be taking place this evening from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Bittersweet Golf Course located at 875 Almond Road in Gurnee, Illinois. To find out more about this fun event, visit the Gurnee Park District website or call 847-623-7788 during normal business hours.
