July 8, 2013 by

This month’s Evanston Ethnic Arts Festival will comes alive from lunch hour to early evening with two stages, featuring music from around the world and various styles of dance over the course of a weekend.

This is an event that focuses on cultural diversity. Poster printing, banner printing, and flyer printing were likely used to promote this festival to residents in this community and the surrounding areas.

The Evanston Ethnic Arts Festival offers people the opportunity to see a selection of artwork through a juried art competition, tasty international foods, a number of hands-on activities in art, dance performances, and children’s activities and games. Every continent of the world is represented at this festival through food, dance, song, visual arts, spoken word, and crafts. Guests will learn about folk dancing and are welcome to participate.

Surrounding this event are more than 100 international flags honoring the various cultures. The festival is sponsored by the City of Evanston Cultural Art Division and the Illinois Arts Council, which is a state agency.

This event is free and everyone is invited to attend. The Evanston Ethnic Arts Festival will be happening on Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21 from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Dawes Park located at the corner of Church Street and Sheridan Road in Evanston, Illinois.
