Evanston event to explore the world of wine

An Evanston establishment is offering an evening of wine exploration that has been planned to appeal to both aficionados and newbies alike.

The Wine Goddess will be playing host to this function, which will provide an in-depth education about how wine is made, right from the date the grapes are picked all the way to how they end up in the glass on the table.

The participants will learn about the fermentation process and how different grape varieties, and even how and where they are grown, can influence the flavor of the beverage produced from them. A local printer will be able to provide specially designed branded custom drinkware that can be used for this type of event.

Along with this sneak peek into the vinting process, the guests will discover how different tricks of the trade used by vintners can results in different styles of wine, and also how this can be influenced by what it popular with consumers at a particular time. The evening has been organized by The Wine Goddess’s, Diana Hamann, who has worked in the industry for more than 10 years. The host’s website noted that the function will be both educational and fun, and all who are interested are welcome.
