Art House to open its doors this weekend

April 2, 2013 by

Featuring local artist Rosa Novak, who is also a high school senior, the opening reception for ‘Art House’ is set to be held this weekend.

Intended to use an empty, vacant space for something that will bring the entire community out to enjoy an artistic experience, poster printing by local print companies was probably used to promote this cultural event to people in the area, including some nearby communities.

Novack’s creation will feature three rooms displaying fiber arts, ceramic creations, and light installations. The vacant building has been transformed and now offers a great experience for the entire family.

The opening reception will invite people in the community to stop in, meet the creator, talk to the artisans, and enjoy a refreshing cup of tea. People will have the opportunity to learn about the artists and what is behind the creations on display – many of which are intriguing and unique. The exhibition will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm from April 6 through to April 28.

There is no charge to attend the opening reception and people of all ages are invited to come out and join the creator and the artisans this Saturday, April 6, beginning at 7:30 pm in Studio 222 at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center located at 927 Noyes Street in Evanston, Illinois. To learn more, please visit the Noyes Cultural Arts Center website or call the center during normal business hours.
