Samantha Fish, kicking off the Johnny Winter’s Show

September 10, 2012 by

Everyone in the area is no doubt familiar with Johnny Winter but this name Samantha Fish may be less familiar. An upcoming event will give everyone the opportunity to meet a fabulous relatively new entertainer, as she opens on stage for the Johnny Winter’s Show.

Fish is a native from Kansas City who plays the Blues like nobody else. She has great stage presence and has shared the stages with many great and influential artists that play the blues, including Cedric Burnside, Kenny Neal, Watermelon Slim, Shirley King, Tab Benoit, and Tommy Castro.

With a sultry, yet innocent, voice that is deceptively mature, Fish’s amazing guitar skills produce a sound somewhere between Susan Tedeschi and Jonny Lang. She has kept pace with the likes of Danny Montero and Paul Greenlease, who are both veterans in the blues industry. Fish has just produced her debut CD entitled ‘Live Bait’ and is currently heading out on a national tour with her band.

Samantha Fish will be appearing live this Wednesday, September 12, at The Wildey Theatre located at 250-254 N. Main Street in Edwardsville, Illinois. Her performance will begin at 8:00 pm sharp. In order to view her performance, tickets must be purchased for the Johnny Winter Concert. Flyer printing and brochure printing may have been used to advertise and promote this great dual performance to people in the surrounding area.
