Local company using chamber membership to the fullest

Bella Milano is an Edwardsville company that’s showing what it means to self-promote through the Chamber of Commerce.

Case in point, the Business After Hours meeting on the 16th has both the First Clover Leaf Bank and Bella Milano listed as co-hosts.

According to the Edwardsville Chamber website:

“Business After Hours is held two times a month on Thursdays from 5-7 p.m. and hosted by various Chamber member businesses. This popular and lively networking opportunity for Chamber members, their employees, and their guests is an event not to be missed.” (sic.)

Simply by becoming event sponsors, these two chamber members have made this more than a matter of showing up with business card printing. This decision to co-host gives both Bella Milano and the First Clover Leaf Bank a chance to get their names in front of other professionals.

Interestingly enough, the month doesn’t end there for Bella Milano. Following the Business After Hours meeting, Bella Milano will be hosting a wine and beer tasting event. Taking place February 23rd, this event will be an excellent opportunity for local professionals to interact with one another in a low-key setting.

Also taking place in the evening with a start time of 6:00pm and an expected conclusion of 8:00 pm, the convenient scheduling gives most professionals a certain amount of flexibility. With the proceeds from this event going towards United Way of Greater St. Louis Southwest Illinois, Bella Milano can support a good cause while making a name for itself here.

Edwardsville professionals can stop by and see the benefits of this approach for themselves.
