March 6, 2014 by

Seeing in this weekend in Crystal Lake, the Creative Arts Student Showcase will feature a wide genre of artistic endeavors including three-dimensional artworks, fine art, wood art and drawings.

The evening may have been promoted using printing services, with flyer printing often used to spread the word of events of this ilk.

During this student art show, guests are invited to come in and view the display of ceramics, paper construction, sculpey clay, mixed media, sculptures, and paintings. All of these works of art have been assigned prices can be purchased.

People are asked to donate packaged snacks for the opening reception. Besides the art exhibit, there will be free face painting for the children, a number of planned activities, and some tasty foods to snack on. Participants in the show are likely to include many of the students that have attended classes, camps, and workshops with Creative Arts during the past year.

Artists who would like to participate are invited to check out the requirements online at Creative Arts. Guests are asked to come out and support their local students and maybe go home with a fine piece of art.

Admission to this exhibit is free and the public is welcome. The Creative Arts Student Showcase will be occurring on Friday, March 7, starting at 5:00 pm at the Dole Mansion, Lakeside Legacy, located at 401 Country Club Road.
