Champaign Chamber will be busy this January

January 4, 2012 by

The Champaign County Chamber of Commerce has a busy month ahead of it.

Starting with a short January 12th seminar that’s been appropriately titled ‘ECI Score Starting a Small Business’, local professionals and future entrepreneurs have an excellent opportunity to gain the information they need to succeed in the early stages of a small business start-up. The cost of a single ticket is a mere $25.00 and the presentation is being made in the evening. If nothing else, this is an affordable way to get information and meet a few of the business owners of tomorrow.

Following the seminar, Chamber Business After Hours will be taking place on the 19th of January. Scheduled to go from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. members and guests are invited to come to Chittick Family Eye Care and interact once again with other members of the Champaign business community. Besides the costs associated with business card printing, members will be charged $5.00 at the door while guests and non-members are being asked to pay $8.00.

Closer to the end of the month on January 24th, the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting yet another Business Success Seminar called Government Contracting 101. With the government being a major purchaser of goods and services, business owners can learn a lot about the process of contracting and submitting proposals. While the printing services of a specialist printing company will undoubtedly be necessary with respect to formatting and binding, this seminar aims to equip entrepreneurs with practical knowledge.

As most can see, the Chamber will be off to a strong start in 2012.
