The 6th annual In Good Taste event is taking place this February. It is presented by the Hersey Instrumental Association and proceeds from the event will benefit John Hersey High School’s band program.

Guests who attend this event will have the chance to taste more than 50 wines and beers from all over the world while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and desserts. A silent auction of approximately 100 items is also planned for the evening, and the first 100 people through the door will receive a souvenir etched glass.

In addition, there will be live musical entertainment, door prizes and raffles to win wine tasting baskets. Donations are still being sought for the raffle prizes. It should be an enjoyable evening for all and made better by the fact that proceeds go to a worthwhile cause. The Hersey bands perform all over the country and recently performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

A flyer has been produced to help advertise this upcoming fundraising event to benefit the Arlington Heights school. Often, local printing companies are asked to provide flyers to market an upcoming event. Flyers are inexpensive and can be distributed in many different ways such as through door to door delivery.

In Good Taste will take place at Chevy Chase Country Club on February 1 from 7:00 to 10:30 PM. Tickets are $35 is purchased before January 18 and $40 after; tickets bought on the day of the event will be $45. To find out more visit the Association’s Facebook page.
