An end-of-September expo in Rockville will offer a fun family event for those who are concerned about their health and want to learn ways to improve it.

The event will feature fitness demos from Thrive Yoga, Funfit, Studio 310, and Dansez! Dansez!, along with health screenings, balance testing, and the chance to ask questions of a fitness trainer or a health coach. Representatives from Healthpointe Acupuncture and Active Family Chiropractic will also be on hand. In addition, there will be plenty of family-friendly activities, such as a family bike ride, nutrition games, and NIH Let’s Move.

There will also probably be literature that those attending can pick up to help them convert to a healthier lifestyle. Rockville printing companies will no doubt be providing brochures, booklets and flyers for people to take home with them. Having free and handy take-home information becomes can often be very important, as it helps people to remember what they learned and makes it easier to put the tips into practice.

The population of the United States is rapidly aging, which may lead to an increasing number of people becoming concerned about their health and how to maintain independence as they age. Events such as the Health Living Expo are designed to help people learn the steps to living a healthier lifestyle.

The Healthy Living Expo will take place at Rockville Town Square on September 29 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm and is free of charge to attend.
