Glen Burnie High School to see in the spring

To help the people of Glen Burnie welcome spring (after a cold and snowy winter) the students of Glen Burnie High School’s Music Department will be holding a Spring Craft Fair this month.

Attendees can expect to find examples of fine crafts and artwork done by people who live in the area. More than a hundred vendors at the craft fair will be offering homemade jewelry, art, practical wood constructs, glassware, floral arrangements and more—all just in time for those who are looking for ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s, Day, or to give unique gifts for Easter, Passover, or Mother’s Day.

For those who might get hungry, a cafe table will provide snacks, drinks, and sandwiches (proceeds will go towards band necessities and activities). Some attendees or vendors may wish to visit a local print company to have flyers or banner printing done to advertise their crafts, or the event itself. The GBHS Music Department is needs fundraising events to support its numerous activities and no doubt hopes the community will come to offer their support.

The Spring Craft Fair will be held irrespective of the weather on Saturday, March 15th from 9:00 am till early afternoon (depending on interest) at the Glen Burnie High School, 7550 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd, Glen Burnie. Parking and admission are free, though vendors will of course be charging for their wares.
