Dogtober Fest sure to lead to family fun

October 31, 2012 by

Dogtober Fest 2012 will take place at the Fieldstone Animal Inn in Millersville this Sunday and is a free event for people and their dogs.

The fest will feature refreshments, children’s crafts, animal adoptions, and information booths from animal rescue organizations. There will also be plenty of activities for dogs, including dog play groups, nail clipping, a costume contest, and bobbing for hot dogs. It should be a fun event for the entire family – not just the dog. It will be an opportunity to have some quality play time with both the kids and the canine.

The animal rescue organizations who are taking part will no doubt come from all over the community, including nearby Glen Burnie. They are also likely to be working with local brochure printers to prepare for the event. These organizations will want to provide literature about their programs and policies for people to take home with them, and brochures and booklets are an inexpensive way to inform the public. They might also want to invest in banner printing services from local printing companies to draw attention to their booths.

The Fieldstone Animal Inn provides a variety of services to dog and cat owners. It provides dog and cat lodging and doggie daycare, pet grooming, a pet spa, and dog training services. Its overall aim is to treat every animal like it would treat its own pet. For more information on the organization, or the event, call 410-647-6516.
