Baltimore Orioles set for three-day winter caravan

The Baltimore Orioles – along with their charity wing OriolesREACH, team coaches, and GM Dan Duquette – will be involved in a three-day “caravan” next week. Printing companies often promote the events of the caravan for the Baltimore Orioles FanFest, which is always done for an excellent cause. The FanFest will be occurring this Saturday, January 19.

This Wednesday, January 16th, team pitchers Brian Matusz and Kevin Gausman will be signing autographs at the William Talley Recreation Center in Frederick, MD. Kids from the Police Athletic League and the Frederick Boys and Girls Club will be joining Matusz and Gausman and will be playing games with them from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The public is welcome to come and the event is totally free.

There will be two different events on January 17 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Zach Britton and Chris Tillman (team pitchers) will be signing autographs and posing for photographs at the Westfield Annapolis Mall. JC Penney concourse fans will be allowed to ask questions and the event is open to the public free of charge.

Buck Showalter, the team manager, will also be speaking at the Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, MD at the Ironbirds’ Hot Stove Dinner. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the Ironbirds’ website and admission is $40.

On Friday, January 18th, Adam Jones (center fielder) will be hosting a breakfast from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Weinberg Family Center Y in Baltimore, Maryland, for a tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. The public is welcome to come to the event.
