The Miami food service industry receives input from a wide assortment of sources, ranging from farming, to restaurants, to the storefront, and an event will be taking place that will allow innovator in these sectors to pitch their ideas to a panel of experienced experts.

Those who participate in the Food Innovation Pitch Night will be competing for an assortment of prizes that can help those in the local food service industry achieve their business goals. Along with this, there will be time built in the schedule for the evening when those who participate can mingle, share best practices, and network with others who share their passion for food.

The event will begin with a networking session, which will be followed by an introduction of the members of the judging panel. The contestants will then pitch their ideas to the judges, and the winner will be announced. The organizers noted that one of the goals for the day will be to help bring good food to as many people as possible. Those who attend a function like this can use premium business cards that have been produced by a local printer during the networking session.

The Food Innovation Pitch Night will be held on September 21 at 1951 NW 7th Avenue, Suite 600, starting at 6:00 pm. Anyone who would like to register to participate can do so through the Better Food Movement’s website.
