Miami luncheon to honor local moms

March 19, 2018 by

Miami mothers, grandmothers, and moms to be will soon be welcomed to an event that has been planned just for them.

The second annual ‘Rose Event’ luncheon will pay homage to the moms and the role they play in their lives of their families. It will be taking place aboard Carnival Victory, which will be docked at Port Miami. It will include a reception, along with a three-course meal, and wine will be served. Entertainment and special presentations are on the agenda, and there will also be raffles for an assortment of prizes.

Since the function will be taking place aboard a ship, guests will need to register ahead of time and receive clearance from U.S Customs before they will be permitted to board the vessel. They must be at least 21 years of age, and are required to submit their full legal name, nationality, date of birth and the number of their passport or driver’s license by no later than April 27.

The occasion will raise funds for an assortment of local not-for-profit causes. Tickets start at $65 each, and special group pricing is available. Banner printing services for this type of special function can be obtained from a local printer

This Miami salute to its moms will be taking place on May 11. Anyone who would like to find out more can do so by paying a visit to the organizer’s website.
