Miami invited to party island style

Dancing, drinking, and eating with a Caribbean and Latin flair are on the agenda for an upcoming Miami event.

Spice it Up Miami will bring people together for an evening of fun that will keep them moving all night long. It will begin with the participants learning how to craft their own island-style drinks, which they will be able to pair with bitesize dishes they made themselves. Next, it will be time to burn off some energy as they learn an assortment of different dance styles, ranging from salsa to reggae, all while mingling with celebrity chefs. The organizers noted that there will be lots of fun and laughter, and also an opportunity to learn.

Those who want a more in-depth experience are invited to turn up early and participate in a walking tour of Little Haiti, where they will learn about Haitian culture and history. A printer can provide brochures that give more information about the area and can be distributed to those who take part in an event like this.

This event will be held on September 8th at 5925 NE 2nd Avenue. Tickets for the walk and Spice it Up Miami can be purchased together or separately, and it is open to those age 21 and over. More details can be found on the Spice it Up website.
