Miami gets ready to dance

Miami residents who are looking for a way to keep fit in 2018 and have fun doing so might want to check out an upcoming event and see what it is all about.

The city’s Center for Social Change is offering swing dance lessons to anyone who is interested in adding some new steps to their repertoire of dance moves. The classes with be facilitated by the Lindy Collective, and the participants will be taught variety of dances using interactive learning techniques.

The class is open to anyone with an interest, and no previous experience is needed to take part. It is not necessary for each participant to have a partner, but it is recommended that everyone wear shoes that are comfortable, as they will be spending most of the lesson up on their feet trying out their new moves.

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time, and they have been priced at $15.00 each with a discount being offered for members. Community bulletins that provide more details about this type of event can be created by a printer using newsletter printing technology.

The lesson will be taking place at 2103 Coral Way in Miami, and the date has been set as January 2. It is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm, and all are welcome to kick up their heels and have fun.
